My confession is that I am a big fan of seafood. Any time I am on a vacation, I love to try out anything that comes from the ocean or sea and is then cooked by a professional. Oh, those flavors! I try to engage my husband into cooking something nice, something seafoody on special occasions. And he brought a Beluga caviar to our table one day. So that’s basically how we got into this caviar craze.
Now, having experience in trying out different types of caviar and a few almost cut fingers of our friends behind, I would like to share some advice on how to open these tins. The best way to open a sealed caviar tin is just to use a knife. But do not go for the sharp ones. Better take a butter or dinner knife. Be gentle with it. Put it in between the two parts of the jar, add a little twist, and prize it open. My husband also likes to use a spoon, which is the same process - take the end of the spoon, do a twist and prize it open.
